This is a magnificent 14th-century Grade I listed church hall. Its timber-framing is typical of the late medieval period, and the hall found lying close to the church, was formerly used as a school.
For anyone interested in period buildings, Henley-on-Thames is a joy. It is blest with over 300 properties designated as of special architectural interest, including the Georgian houses in the main street whose frontages cover much older buildings. It also has coaching inns from the 17th-century.
Whilst visiting the church hall - why not pop in to look over the church? it too is well worth seeing.
